Day 8

day 8

Continuing the name of other students from which we can learn and what we can learn.
  1. Rachit: I think the only person in our class who recorded his voice and listen it to know about flaws he had so that he can improve his communication skills.
  2. Deepika: The one who practice empathy and wants to be philanthropist in our class.
  3. Chahat Arora :  In case of emergency this is the one who can provide you best possible solution.( Eg. using gauze for tying tents.)
  4.  Ankit Jain :  A good manager and the live example of that is who he is managing the party for our group.
  5. Kulpreet : Its never late, sometimes he get distracted but whenever he realizes that he is going wrong at the same time he come back and start concentrating on the reason he comes from amritsar to delhi and attend class properly.
  6. Rachna:  Be daring (e.g. Kisi ke baap ka raj hai ?), Confident.
  7. Lokesh:  In this world many of us judges a book by its cover and man by its appearance but this is not correct. we should judge a person by his wisdom. Today he speak a wonderful line about management and that was manage- men - t (tactfully) i.e. manage a man tactfully. I wan't to give a salute to Mr. Lokesh from my side.
The list is not complete but i will add the names day by day.

So finally starting the session.

Session 1 with Ms. Madhu Sharma

Shoot for the moon even if you miss you will land among the stars. The one thing in her class which i found very interesting was, the way she force us to see the thing from different perspective. Generally we stick to our points and argue and never change the way we perceived but in today's session she gave us an beautiful insight and thought provoking idea to see the same thing differently. Although she taught us a lot but following is the summary of what she told us to do:

  1. Be Precise with your goal and have clarity along with action plan.
  2. Delete if and but from your dictionary.
  3. Reduce your risk or we can say take calculated risk because your life is not a gambling game(if you wan't to pursue any other course then do pursue but have some backup).
  4. Be aggressive in your life.
  5. Write your mission statement and vision statement.
  6. Atleast give 45 mins to yourself for your value addition.
  7. The way we give an answer to a problem tells about what kind of mentality we have like ekta kapoor wali or obama wali.
  8. When you are provided with a case study then avoid making  assumption.
  9. Avoid ego if you really wan't to learn something.
  10. Increase your general awareness and start observing.
  11. Have deo, wet tissues and razor all the time (men) to make a good impression.
The poem about which we had heard a lot.

 The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
